Happy New Year Bloggy Friends!
Today I was listening to the song "East to West" by Casting Crowns and I was struck by the following lyrics--
"I can't live by how I feel
But by the truth your word reveals
I'm not holing on to you
But you're holing on to me"
SO true. I am often so consumed by how I feel about things, that I forget to look at life through the eyes of my Lord and his word. And praise God that he holds fast to me, as I am continuously letting go, losing my grip, or jumping back into the gravity of this world of my own accord and selfishness.
What I great reminder as I start this new year.
